Tuesday, August 28th is Back to School Night for Grades 3-5.  The meeting go from 5:30-6:45PM.  These are PARENTS ONLY meetings. If your kids must join you, teachers ask that they sit quietly in the hall while the meetings are going on.  Please email your homeroom teacher if you have any questions.  See you then!

Uh, huh.  2004 called and they would like this fantasy back.  Sorry. No cars for you today, but this got your attention, right?  But, this is your chance to do something pretty awesome.  It might not be a Oprah's Favorite Things kind of experience, but it is something pretty rewarding.

Sign up to Volunteer or to be a Room Parent.  

If only parents would treat the experience of helping out at school like they would a day in Harpo Studios, we would have to beat ya'll off with a stick...but, that is not the case.  We have a lot of help that is still needed.  Now just because you can't be up at the school while class is in session doesn't mean we can't use your help.  There are things that you can do from home.  Please check out the link to sign up to Volunteer or sign up to be a Room Parent or Classroom Helper.

You can learn more about both of these things at the PTA Extravaganza on Thursday, Sept 14th from 6-7:30..make sure you RSVP.  There will be pizza!

You get a slice of pizza.  And YOU get a slice of Pizza!  And YOU, yes YOU....get to help out your school and look like a cool parent in the eyes of your child.  Yup. That's better than some car from Oprah, right?  Try it.  You'll see.
