Support Mossman students, faculty and staff in the Fall Fun Run Fundraiser by volunteering to help with the event, pledging for your students and/or becoming a Fun Run Sponsor.
- Pledge: Information will come home with your student after the October 14th Informational Pep Rally - Become a Sponsoring Business: Download the form or email [email protected]. T-Shirt Order Deadline: Oct 7thKnights, we're getting ready to run! Please turn in any Fun Run t-shirt orders by Friday, October 7th. We do not order extras of these shirts to sell in the school store, so snag one before the order is placed! Remember, ALL Mossman students will receive a FREE t-shirt courtesy of your PTA. Our Mossman Knights will be rocking their socks off for our 8th Annual Fun Run on Friday, October 28, 2016 during their block times. Fun Run is Mossman PTA’s fall fundraiser and generates funds that the PTA can put into the classroom THIS school year. Since Mossman opened, PTA funds have been used to:
- Build leveled classroom libraries for K-2nd grades with over $17,000 approved last year - Support individual classroom educational enhancements with over $30,000 - Support the literacy library and add book club sets to the Mossman Library - Build the Mossman playground & shade structure - Support Mossman’s International Fair - Support student clubs at Mossman - Implement & support a cafeteria recycling program - Provide teachers with professional development training that they have requested - Purchase accessories to enhance CCISD’s technology initiative Look around Mossman for the signs indicating classrooms that have received enhancements from PTA funds and know that your support directly impacts Mossman’s Knights. Our goals for this year will be to build reading level specific classroom libraries for 3rd-5th grade classrooms, sponsor family events such as bike rodeo & family fun nights for our Mossman community and to continue to fund programs that positively impact all students and teachers.
